COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course teaches participants about dealing with sexual harassment in the workplace. We will define sexually harassing behavior, and discuss the costs as well as the psychological, health-related, and career-related effects of sexual harassment. Course activities include examining the laws against, and the liabilities of, sexual harassment, identifying verbal and nonverbal behaviors, and making an effort to prevent sexual harassment. Participants will also learn about having a sexual harassment policy, responding appropriately to an employee being harassed and to the accused, and identifying the repercussions of sexual harassment in an organization.

Þ Avoid sexual harassing behavior, realize the costs to an organization, and identify the psychological, health-related, and career-related effects of sexual harassment
Þ Describe the law against and different types of sexual harassment, and understand an organization’s liability if a non-employee harasses an employee
Þ Identify behaviors constituting verbal and nonverbal, types of sexual harassment, and recognize the impact of sexual harassment in the workplace
Þ Prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, respond appropriately if you or your co-workers are being harassed, and handle personal conversations in the workplace
Þ Identify the need for sexual harassment policy in an organization, respond appropriately to the employee being harassed and to the accused, and identify the repercussions of sexual harassment on the organization

Cancellation Policy:
If you are not able to attend your training event you must notify the Cynosure Power of Fortitude Training Manager FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS PRIOR to the first day of the training event. Cancellations must be received in writing or through the link provided in your confirmation email. All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $150 administrative fee. This fee can be waived by sending a substitute with written notice to the Cynosure Power of Fortitude Training Manager. WITHIN FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS of the training, cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $250 administrative fee. Please allow up to one week to process any refunds. If you do not cancel and do not attend, your registration fee will be forfeited to Cynosure Power of Fortitude.
